Payment Methods:

Payment is required at the time of shipping. Studio de la Mer accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express.
If you choose to pay by check we require that a check for product and shipping charges be sent and received before the merchandise is shipped.

We do not ship any items via C.O.D.

Shipping Charges:

We ship merchandise by the least expensive way possible. Some items can be shipped through the USPS. Items that cannot are shipped via DHL.

Because prices vary depending on weight and destination, we are unable to give you exact shipping charges prior to shipment. However, once we have received your order we should be able to give you a rough estimate of shipping charges.

Deposit Requirements:

A 30% deposit is required on all items that are priced over $500. The deposit is charged when production starts. The remaining balance plus any shipping and crate fees will be charged when the order is ready to ship. All custom orders (including letters) are charged in full when production begins.

Return Policy:

Personalized and custom work:
Personalized and custom designed items cannot be returned. All sales are final.
All other items:
Regular production items may be returned under the following conditions.
-Studio de la Mer must be contacted within 48 hours of receipt of the item to request a Permission to Return number.
-The item itself must arrive at our studio within 15 days of our agreement to accept the return.
-The item must be packaged properly, insured, and arrive in good condition. Items that do not arrive in good condition will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
-We do not pay for return shipping cost, nor do we refund the original shipping charges.

Damage Claims:

Personalized and custom work:
Shipping damage to personalized and custom items will be handled on an individual basis. It is often better to repair the item than to replace it.
All other items:
-Customer must contact Studio de la Mer within 48 hours of the receipt of the damaged shipment.
-Customer must keep damaged item and all packing material, boxes and crates in order to be eligible for a damage claim. Shippers frequently ask to see damaged product and packaging.
-We may require that you provide us with photographs of the damages to the product and packaging. Sometimes shippers don’t need to inspect the items but may require a photograph.
-Do not return damaged items unless you are asked to do so. This will avoid incurring unnecessary shipping charges.
-Once the claim issues has been resolved a refund will be issued.

Wholesale Pricing:

Studio de la Mer offers wholesale pricing to retail stores. Call for a wholesale price list.
Retailers are required to provide documentation and meet order minimums to qualify for wholesale prices.
